two or more years ago, I could keep 'all day' busy answering questions posted on
c6x.
Now adays, there is rarely a question posted here.

It is a wonder that c6x hasn't been closed down.

Laura-

I would suggest to post your question on TI's tech support forum, e2e.ti.com.

In your problem description, you mention that McASP registers remain 0, but also you mention which code should
configure McASP registers. It's not clear if you are actually running that code, or whether you've tested any of the
canned audio examples that (should) come with the OMAP-L138 board. I suggest to clarify those things when you post on
e2e.

Hello,
I have a question related to OMAP L138,the mcsdk_1_01_00_02 sofware package from Texas Instruments, to bemore precise. I am using ZOOM OMAP-L138 eXperimenter Kit from LogicPD.
I would like to build theMCASP_AudioExampleProject from the pdk_OMAPL138_1_01_00_02 package, that comes together with the mcsdk_1_01_00_02 sofware.
In the mcasp_drv.c function is theMcASP configured. The problem is that the values in the McASPregisters remain unchanged (default, 0x0), meaning that the McASP ispowered down. Therefore, the program doesn't do anything. It shouldbe an audio playback, the LINE IN is fed with an audio signal from myPC and on the LINE OUT, I should hear it through my headphones. The configuration of the board isdone with Low Level Drivers for each module.
Has anyone worked or still works withthis package and could help me? I would very much appreciate yourhelp.
Thanks and regards,

Laura
P.S: I use CCS5.4.0.00091_linux on aUbuntu 12.04 LTS machine. The documentation offered by TI didn't helpme with this problem.
