Thanks, i've had a look and like the Terratec. Now it's just a question of software!

From what I know, Terratec makes some cards that have several outputs and or which drivers (for Linux etc.) are available (cf. http://produceren.terratec.net/product.php?pid=7). The RME cards are another alternative (http://www.rme-audio.com/english/soundcds.htm). You could write your own software for this - a bit tedious perhaps, but possible. -- Stephan M. Thanks for your views. As you've probably gathered I'm no expert on sound cards, but so far I've not come across any card that offers the type of control I require. If you know of a particular card or independent software or any combination of the above that will answer to my needs I'd be more than grateful if you would share it with me. Best wishes, Martin.

I think you are much more likely to find software running on a PC to do such a
thing. Combined with a digital input/multiple-output sound card or cards, this
should get you what you want.

Does anyone know whether a PCI card exists that will act as an audio
active crossover network? Ie it should accept a digital input from a
PC soundcard then be capable of splitting it digitally into a number
of frequency bands (at least 3), with user definable cut off
frequencies and attenuation rates. Obviously seperate outputs should
be available for each frequency band per channel. Or is it pie in the
sky? ;=}
