Hi,
i suspect all existing SpeechRecognition engines are based on 'HTK
book'(or __htkbook.pdf in my case) by Cambridge University.
About details of release i'm ready to speak by e-mail.

Well I have already read some books about Neural Nets...
I'm currently reading on how audio processing works. But I still don't
know where to begin...
Could you please tell me some of modern ways of handling this?

If you are doing this on your own I think you will be busy! The best
packages on the amrket are the result of some 30 odd years of reserach -
some in hugh teams with linguists, engineers etc etc

What algorithms are commonly in speech recognition?
I have planned to use Fourier Transform (how many samples do you think
is good? 4096?) and a adaptive filter.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance
