I am not clear about what you are measuring. When you say, "I read
0", how are you measuring this? If the pin is at 0 volts, it should read as a 0 to the DSP. If connecting a ground to this pin makes the DSP read a 0 instead of a 1, then the pin can not be at 0 volts. This information is not consistent.
