There are at least two such introductions on the net, both of which are
unfortunately unavailable in English:
Une introduction a Scilab by Bruno Pincon - there is a German translation
Demarrer en Scilab by B. Ycart
These two are more than enough to get you started on Scilab - you must know
French, though. I hope that one day both of them get updated and
translated.

Hi all.
Ive downloaded scilab 3.0 from www.scilab.org, and the thing
appears to run fine on my PC. The documentations pops up for
just about any conceivable finction.
My problem is that I would like so see some "Getting Started"
type of thing. Does anyone know where I can find such papers?
