I had written a routine which > calculate the square root of given number and stored the result in to memory > location (defined as .bss and is in internal RAM). If I select to view hex (TI > 32 bit Hex) value, it showed me the correct result. But if I choose to display > in either 32-bit floating point or 32-bit exponential floating point it doesn't > show me correct result. Why is that...? Same is happening with Watch Window.... This was already mentioned as a bug in the CCS 4.10: http://www.ti.com/sc/docs/dsps/hotline/techbits/c3bug.htm#SDSsq09909 SDSsq09909: floating point values are not correctly displayed in watch window (v4.10) TI prompts to downoload a service pack to fix it.
