I've not used that product. You didn't say how the microphones are oriented / arranged. You also didn't say if you intend to do simple summation beamforming or also intend to do beam steering. With simple summation beamforming (no delays inserted in the element (microphone) channels) you will still need to align the delays if the ADC is sequential across the channels. You might try alt.sci.physics.acoustics with your question. Fred

One parameter to look out for, is how well the sampling in the different channels are synced. The ideal array sampling system would consist of 8 ADCs in parallel that sample in the exact same moment with neglectable "sample and hold" times. You should try to find a data sheet for this thing, and see how the sampling is done, and decide whether it suits your needs. Rune
