In reviewing my original post, it has become clear to me that I didn't
provide enough information.
The AD73322L CODEC is a fairly simple low rate voice band CODEC.  It
is not AC anything compatible so it doesn't use the multi-channel
SPORT TDM method to communicate.  Most of the sample code I'm aware of
is configured to talk to one of the ACxx compatible CODECS.

Ideally, what I'm looking for is how to set up the SPORT and SPORT DMA
to receive and transfer two samples at a time before interrupting the
DSP.

Has anyone interfaced this CODEC to any of the SHARC family of
processors?  If so and you could share the code it would be a great
help.
