There's the IJG: http://ijg.org/ The code is portable so it should work on the Blackfin. -- Kenneth Porter http://www.sewingwitch.com/ken/

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. I have looked on the suggested link, but I'm
more interrested in a complete implementation from third party
companies. This may for instance be in form of just an object file.

I think it's worth mentioning that the code examples on ADI's web site are not complete applications, but implementations of core algorithms of such applications. JaaC

There is an implementation on the www.analog.com/dsp web site, follow the link: code examples->blackfin: http://www.analog.com/Analog_Root/sitePage/mainSectionContent/0,2132,level4%253D%25252D1%2526ContentID%253D14622%2526level1%253D205%2526level2%253D%25252D1%2526level3%253D%25252D1,00.html Kind regards Jan

Hi,
Don't know about Blackfin implementation, but DM64x implementation is very
good in performance. Do a search on google.

Hi folks,

Does any of you know if there are companies or persons who have made a
JPEG encoder/decoder implementation for the BlackFin DSP? It does not
need to support JPEG 2000.

Kind regards,
