From what I can tell, CC2 requires that the users have administrative
privileges .  From their installation literature:

"For Windows NT and Windows 2000, you must install CCStudio IDE using
administrator privileges.  To run CCStudio IDE on these systems
requires write permission on the registry......"

Can you allow write permission to the registry without granting
administrator privileges?

Hi

We have many licences of Code Composer 4.1x and now the CCS 2 for TMS320
F240.
When installing CCS2 and Spectrum digital drivers (F24x EVM with JTAG
interface) on Microsoft W2000 pro systems, it lets only the administrator to
use them.
Normal Users (privilege) can not start CCS2.
Can you help us and tell me how to install the CCS2 tool for users that have
restricted privileges on the PC.
Also the same pb for Microsoft NT4.
