Hi,
By just connecting the emulator to your target board shouldn't stop the DSP
from running. Usually the target board knows the presence of the emulator
only when you start the code composer studio. When you take the code
composer studio, the emulator halts the DSP and takes control.
I believe either your target hardware has some problem or you have not
properly set the reset vector, and hence the DSP is not running properly
after giving power (i mean you only feels that its not running). Are you
loading your project (the .out file) from CCS before runnning it?
Cheers,
Ajith.
