Our dspblok 21161sm is a small module that includes the ADSP-21161, SDRAM, Flash, EE and a 1.8V switching supply for the core voltage. All connections are made via 2mm headers. You avoid all the BGA difficulties. We also have our dspstak line which support the ADI ADSP-21262, ADSP-21161 & ADSP -2191. dspstak systems separate the I/O functions from the DSP engine (two boards make a "stack").
