Hello,

We're working on a project interfacing tms 320 c5416 and tlv 320 aic10.
We have problem in programming the control register of tlv 320 aic10 using the secondary communications method.

We are using the following jumper settings on the AIC10EVM
W1 =1-2
W2 = 1-2
W3 = 1-2
W4,W5 = 2-3
W6,W7 = 2-3
W8 open
W9,W10 = 2-3
W11 = 2-3
W12 = 1-2
W13 = 1-2-3
W14 = 2-3
W15 = 1-2-3
W16,W17 = 2-3
W18 = 1-2
W19 = 2-3
W20 = 1-2-3
W21 = 1-2
W22 = 2-3
W35 - W38 = 1-2
W39,W40 = 1-2
W60 = 1-2
W61 = 2-3
W62 = 1-2
These settings are based on our understanding of the TI Publication SLWU003D
Jan 2001: 'EVM User Guide'

We're working with two aic10 chip on the evm board, using CCS V2.10.05.

The devices is configured to McBSP 0 as slave, U1 as master, U2 as slave.

We're using McBSP 0 to set CR 3 (AIC 10 analog loopback) and moving the data via DMA2(receving data from McBSP) and DMA3(sending data to McBSP).

How can we make sure that tlv 320 aic10 is connected to the dsk board?
(Is there a way that we can make sure that McBSP 0 really communicate with the EVM?)

We don't have any C source code sample to make sure that the two board connected in the right way.

We would be grateful if anyone else, perhaps someone who has already worked
through these problems, could lend a little insight into what is going
wrong..
Best regards,
tony
