Probably the best approach is to use an Forney equalizer programmed
with a truncated version of the impulse response of the above IIR
filter.
Most other approaches (matched filter, decision-feedback equalizer)
will give you somewhat worse results, but depending on the extent
of the bandlimiting, the effect could be pretty mild.
