Thanks. So it is to say that refreshing graph window during program
running time don't rely on the presence of RTDX?

I'm not really sure about refreshing data on the 6202. However, the 6416
has a cool feature called "real-time mode". If you go to Debug -> Real-Time
Mode and then right-click on your graph (or watch window or memory window)
and select "continuous refresh" then you will get exactly that. The 6202
won't allow for real-time mode but I think you can manually refresh the
window.

DSP chip is 6416 or 6202 and the version CCS is 2.2.

What DSP are you using? What version of CCS?

Thanks a lot. I have another question:

As you have said, I can only see CCS window update when the processor
halts. Then in such a situation (with RTA and RTDX disabled), if I set
up some displays in the View -> Graph tools (for example, I want to
see the constellation graph of a stream of continuous incoming
wireless data frames), can I refresh the graph window while program is
running, without enabling breakpoints, to obtain the graph view
whenever I want?

Yes, you can but you will only see your CCS window update when the processor
halts (i.e. hits a breakpoint, etc.).

Hi, all,

TI C6x platform. Could I create STS objects and use them to monitor
system run-time information while at the same time disabling RTA and
RTDX in the DSP/BIOS configuration tool? I don't want the RTA and RTDX
modules to use up too much memory and CPU cycles.

Thanks!
