Hi,

do you have a Setup tool for your code composer studio? It is called
cc_setup.exe in the \bin directory at my version of code composer studio.
If you have it, open it. There you can install a configuration, and it is
possible, that you can find a DSK6711 configuration available to install.

Try to do that and write again...

Dear Simon
I am very much thank full of you for your cooperation.
Look I have only CCSDSK(C6711) of varsion 1.23, and all the driver for
JTAG in
http://emulators.spectrumdigital.com/c6000/ are upper then the version
2.x or 3.x, so the driver hade not matched, and it is still a problem
for me coz I can't buy CCSDSK C6000 v2.x .
I know that you can guide me properly.

Thanking you

hi,

i have two ideas of possible solutions:
* you need a driver for the emulator, which you can download at
http://emulators.spectrumdigital.com/c6000/. I am quite sure that there's
already an available configuration driver for the 6711 DSK inside the Setup
Tool of Code Composer Studio. You need to start the Setup tool and add a
board of C6711 DSK to your system configuration. Then you can change the
settings, you probably need to enter 0x378 for your parallel port, as well
as you need to select a single processor and a startup-gel file (the
gel-file might be found by browsing...at my place it is called
DSK6211_6711.gel )

Maybe, that's already everything you need to do, but I'm not sure. Me, I
used a different board and processor (C6713 on a D.SignT module), and so I
had to perform the following step as well.

* I had to use SDConfig.exe which you can download at their page too. Their
I selected 378 as the printer port and at the folder EMU I had to select the
XDS510pp_plus with ECP, port speed 0. You can then try to verify your
connection to the emulator with this tool too.

You seem to own a very old version of Code Composer Studio. I hope
everything's the same for this version, I only use version 2.21.

:)

Hope this helps!

Yours

Hi,
like this:

|TMS320C6711DSK| (<---) XDS510ppplus --- Printer port ----->PC

Connect the PC and the XDS via a parallel cable. And the XDS is plugged into
the DSK-board.
