Hello

Does anybody still have these csv files required to run Ez-kit 21061 Lite
under Visual DSP++ 4.0? I've become a happy owner of that board and
i'm trying to use one. Thanks in advance.

 Best regards

YEAH!!!

Visual dsp 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 are working with the adsp-21061 EZ-lite kit
now!!. Analog device wouldn't provide a fix, because they don't support
the adsp-21061 ez-lite kit anymore.

The fix is as follow:

Download these csv files and put them into your visualdsp/system
directory.

http://62.216.16.167/evert/csv_adsp.zip

load the configurator and select the adsp-21061

that's it.

Feel free to ask me any question.
Have fun.

Well,

The answer to these problems is very simple.
Analog devices DID not provide support in later versions then visual dsp
3.0.
Very odd is the fact that support is somehow still implemented in the
configurator. Only some config files seems to be missing, which causes
visual dsp versions beyond 3.0 to produce .csv errors on loading.
I copied these csv files:
- Regfile61_EZKIT.csv ( in system directory visualdsp )
- Regfile.csv ( "" "" )

into the visual dsp3.5 directory, but still some errors, but not that it
is missing the csv files!!

help needed!

Jon,

Exactly the same problem here!

Have you found a solution?

I ended up trying several different versions of VisualDSP, and eventually found
one that worked. I believe it was version 3.0. I never found any explanation
as to why this would be. I was able to find quite a few old versions on the
Analog Devices web site for download.

Same issue here! I cannot program the darn thing... Is there a solution for this. It seems that the ez-kit adsp-21061 is simply missing from the config menu. grt. gtek This message was sent using the Comp.DSP web interface on www.DSPRelated.com

I want to use Visual DSP++ 3.5 to talk to an old 21061 EZ-Kit lite (and
eventually a 21065L EZ-Kit) via RS-232. However, I can't seem to set-up an
appropriate session in Visual DSP++ 3.5. In the New Session dialog box, I don't
seem to have the option listed for the 21061 EZ-Kit. Under Debug target, I do
see "EZ-KIT Lite (ADSP-21xxx)". I choose that, but now my only choices for
processor are the 21160, 21161, or 21262. Nothing for the 210xx parts.

I tried using the Configurator tool to create a Platform. I created a
"ADSP-21061 EZ-KIT Lit via COM port" platform, but it never shows up in the New
Session dialog box.

I've tried multiple un-installs/re-installs, making sure all components are
installed. I've tried this on 2 different PCs, one with Win2K and the other
with Win98. I also had an old 2.0 version of the software hanging around so I
tried with that with similar results.

What am I missing? Is there some licensing issues that prevent certain products
from appearing? My license is listed as "Validated (Permanent)".

Thanks!
-Jon
