Hi
I'm still trying to migrate from a C6711DSK to a C6713DSK (both
Spectrum Digital)in a setup with both an ADC and Ethernet
daughtercard.
Why is this so hard?? And why is it so hard finding documentation??
(and don't let me get started about ti.com: *worst* site ever imo,
what does one has to do to find some usefull info there?)

Anyway, here it goes: when connecting a TLC3578ADC EVM module on the
C6713, I do not get the DC_CLKX1 nor DC_FSX1 signals.. The pins just
stay low.. These should be 15Mhz and 100kHz pulses resp., since I set
the CPU clock to 150Mhz so I can compare easily to the 150Mhz C6711;
init code for the McBsp is the same.
How can I check at what clock speed the CPU is running?
I read the technical reference, it says there is a MISC register in
which one can configure the McBsp to be assigned to the codec or the
daughtercard.. I guess this register is not set correctly at my dsp,
but where is it somewhere? I searched every document I have but
nothing about a MISC register...

I also came along this doc: http://focus.ti.
com/general/docs/buglist/searchbybugnumber.tsp?
templateIdQ21&navigationId278&bugNumber=SDSsq28148.
What do they mean with "The current DSP/BIOS configuration files do
not support the 6713." ? I use DSP/BIOS config and it seems to do
what
I ask it..
But I was wondering about that User Init function: how/where do you
define it? The standard function when I choose a new DSP/BIOS config
is _GBL_setPLLto225MHz(), but I guess that's coded in asm somewhere
since I cannot find it; although I'd like to edit it.

Please help me out, since I'd really like to continue developping on
the C6713 because of it's higher clock etc, but if it continues to
give this kind of problems, I'll think I get back to the C6711..

Regards,
Stijn
