Hi vliu77,

Are you able to find F8013? Someone of my friends told
me they have stock in Asia.

I know Freescale is promoting this device. Because
this is a very popular device in Freescale customers (
because of low cost) so that is why had so long
leadtime. Now leadtime has reduced to around 8-12
weeks. I suggest you talk to other distributors , like
Future, or local Freescale sales, you may find
different story. If you still have problem to get this
device, I can ask my contact in distributor to give
you a help. Would you mind to share which distributor
told you this bogus story? Thanks!

We are in the beginning of our design cycle and are trying to build
low voltage BLDC motor control system with hall sensors based on
MC56F8013. However, it was brought to our attention that lead time on
these devices is around 6 month, and our local disty guy told us that
Freescale is exiting this business, and recommended some other devices
to use. Before we make a switch I wanted to check with this community
to see if anybody heard anything about this. Post and reply activity
on this forum has declined drastically in the past few months making
me wonder.
