What version of Windows, and what rights do you have? We have had problems with CCS on Windows XP. Even though I have full administrator privileges on the build machine when it is logged onto the engineering domain, there are always problems if you install that way. Try logging on to the administrator account for the computer itself, not onto any domain. That has worked for us in the past. -- Jack Klein Home: http://JK-Technology.Com FAQs for comp.lang.c http://www.eskimo.com/~scs/C-faq/top.html comp.lang.c++ http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lite/ alt.comp.lang.learn.c-c++ http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~ajo/docs/FAQ-acllc.html

Hi,

I am installing a new version of CCS 2.2 for ARM 7 (TMS470).

When I try installing it, I get the error message as unInstallShield
is in use.

When I try uninstalling the previous version, I get the same error
message.

I have tried rebooting the PC. Has anyone faced this problem? Or
anyone knows any solution to it?

Thanks,
Sumeer.
