Hi, I am modeling a communication channel, where the noise is colored Gaussian noise whose variance is periodic in nature. I modeled that, but my problem is that to see the system perforamance(The standard method is to plot BER perforamce against Eb/No). But in my case, we can not put Eb/No as x-axis, as noise variance is a function of time (which is constant for AWGN channels). So i need to plot BER versus mean signal to nosie ratio(avg SNR). Now my question is what is the relation between Eb/No and average SNR, assming noise variance is periodic with a period T. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated. Best Regards, -SaiRamesh.
