Hello Paul,

According to DSP56374's datasheet, EXTAL is not 5V tolerant (see page 6, table 3, note 1 and page 7, table 7), however it would be simple to adapt voltage levels with a two resistor voltage divider.

Pablo

Hello All,

I'm trying to find out if the DSP56374 is "5 Volt" tolerant on the input EXtal pin. The DSP56371 is according to the UG - but I'm not sure if the DSP56374 is as I'd like to use an external XO. All other inputs are 5V tolerant - but I can't find anything on the clock. Does anybody know?

brgrds,

Paul
