Dear n...@beer.com,
I am not sure how that you knew that a 'sir' would be
replying...
My impression of your email is that you want 'a beep with the minimum
amount of work'. To that end, check out 'play_codec' in
'post.c', normally located at something like:
\ti\examples\dsk6711\board_util\post\post.c
It is a bit "brute force", but it will make sound.

Dear sirs!
I am developing an image
processing application using Code Composer Studio and TI TMS320 C6711 board. As
input and output I'm using a video daughterboard, thus are audio jacks
free.
At the time of DSP initialization, a 1 kHz beep is heard on the
audio out. Now, I would like to use this output to signal an audible alarm
(e.g., motion detected in the video sequence). Is there a way to do this without
generating the sine function and sending it to the DAC myself -- a simpler, more
convenient way like printf("\a") on regular PC platforms?
Thank
you.-- _______________________________________________ Fill your
