Randy,
we have an implementation of Vorbis 'Tremor' Decoder on OMAP (C55x+ARM).
Is it the decoder you are looking for? or the encoder?

During last TI Devcon in bangalore, I saw a demo of a Vorbis encoder running on an OMAP(C55x+ARM) platform by a company called ImpulseSoft(impulssoft.com)Though am not very sure if it was running on the DSP(fixed point) or the ARM(floating point) I know these guys, so If you so require I shall ask their guys to talk to you. There is a company called Emuzed, I would be surprised if they did not have it too. Also this seems a possibility too: http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/wtbu/wtbugencontent.tsp?templateId=6123&path=templatedata/cm/general/data/wtbmiddl/devs/patni --Bhooshan This message was sent using the Comp.DSP web interface on www.DSPRelated.com

Very cool. Thanks Donald. Any ideas on an encoder?
(That's just the decoder, right?)

OK, so I'm an idiot. I'm looking for vorbis for a *C55x*, NOT

There is a fixed point implementation of Vorbis called Tremor. I think that is the one used in the MP3 + Vorbis players. Regards, Steve
