Yes, the windows are the same for the different types
of filters. It is the impulse response of the ideal
filter that varies.

The window is the same for all filter types. What differs is the ideal filter
response to which you apply the window.

Hes. the Hamming window, like all others I can think of, has a single
prescription, dependent only on the number of points along the curve.
