The C33 data sheet shows an industrial grade version spec'ed to -40C. Is
that what
you have? Or do you have the commercial grade?

If your chips are not spec'ed to -30C, then results would be undefined. A
failure
could manifest as anything... an ALU error, an internal memory error... who
knows.
