So, everything seems to be OK. You could try asking ADI DSP support for some help. As far as I recall, the contact address is dsp.support@analog.com. It can be found on the website, anyway. Good luck, JaaC

Yes

VisualDSP++ 4.0 Product Version: 4.0.4.0 IDDE version: 6.5.0.1 Build date: Oct 19, 2005

I followed the step-by-step instructions in the manual. The 2nd step is to download updates, so I did that already.

Hi, Did you install the software that comes along with the kit? Which version is it? You could try also installing the latest version (4.0) with the latest updata (Dic 05) too. Also, are you starting VisualDSP with the kit powered and already connected to the PC via USB? Regards, JaaC

Hi

I just got an EZ-kit from Analog Devices (ADSP-21364).

When I start VisualDSP for the first time a
session window shows up. The manual states that I should select "EZ-kit LITE
(ADSP-21xxx)"
as debug target but I can't find it in the drop-down list. If I click the
"Show all targets and platforms"
I see "EZ-kit LITE (ADSP-21xxx)" in the drop-down list but it is in grey and
I can't click it.

How do I solve this?

Thank you.
