clear case of 2812 chip gone

it is drawing toooooooo much current

that is heating up the regulator

whenever chhip is gone ccs does not connect to the board

change the chip and everything will be fine again

Dear friends,
I am using eZdspf2812 board for some time for on line generation of PWM pulses which will be used in IGBT bridge. But now once I power-ON the board and start CCS a message
" can't initialize the target CPU
check target power,JTAG connection
I/o port 378 " is displayed.
at the same time the bottom portion of the board near regulator IC is very much heated.
I am not been able to fix the problem. Please help.
Thanx.
