If you are using a method like the mean squared error (MSE) to calculate your PSNR, then you might have to interpolate the smaller matrix to bring it to the size of the bigger matrix. This is one way to go about but I am not sure about the accuracy of the result...Khalid Gidaya.

Hi,
I have two square matrices of different sizes. One is half the size of the other. I got this from db1 wavelet decomposition. Now I want to compute PSNR (peak signal...) between these two. Please suggest how to go about.
Thanx
