Hello Thomas,

The boot code for 16 bit vs. 8 bit should be the same except for the EMIF initialization [and the hardware boot mode]. Once the EMIF is initialized correctly, the hardware will take care of the FLASH memory accesses [byte, word, and half word] for you.
