Hi Gautam:
I haven't heard of anyone just isolating the "UDP" protocol by
itself -
usually you get (and want) the entire host set of the TCP/IP suite.
I have ported over Precise RTCS, which is a third-party TCP/IP suite, that
has been targeted for DSP chips like the C6000 series - I ported it to a
C6711, C6713 board. Now, you can configure some of the feature set so that
you can make it slimmer, if you want.
It's been a few years since I did that, and Precise I believe is now part
of
ARC (http://www.arc.com). Here's the product brochure on RTCS:
Alternatively, I suppose someone else may have ported the Berkeley TCP/IP
stack over.
