Maybe I have too much time on my hands....

Anyway, I've been researching on the web for methods useful in generating 
cell phone ring tones.  What I want to do is generate a monotone ring tone. 
So far I've been able to find the music and convert it to notes using a demo 
of MidNotate - which is a pretty cool program!

What I haven't been able to do is get MidNotate to save a single instrument 
in a midi file - even though it seems to extract it inside the program OK.

Then there is the matter of generating a monotonic ringtone from it.
And so on ....

Any suggestions?
