1. SRAM is faster, and with the process technology they used they
couldn't get the speed with flash. The TI TMS320F28xx DSPs use flash
for program memory and it's about 8 times slower than the internal SRAM.
2, 3, 4, 5. Go to http://www.analog.com, get a data sheet, take a look.
