I leave it to you to untangle the top posting. You're just repeating yourself. It may be obvious to you, but I don't understand what "divide it with speech file" means. By the way: do all your files have the same length?  could some one help me out with this.

i have to get a relation for the energy or the power of the resultant
signal, formed by adding two wave files(mostly a speech file and a
music file) and then dividing the resultant signal with the speech
