Why you do not use Metrowerks' CodeWarrior tool? DSP
56803 device has a On-Chip Emulator (OnCE). So you
only need a CodeWarrior tool for DSP56800 and a JTAG
converter, you are able to debug your system. Please
attached Motorola slides for how to debug your target
system. There are many adventages if using OnCE
instead of the stand alone hardware emulator.

We are in the early stages of a project that will use the DSP56803.
At present, we are using the SB-USB emulator and BoxView software
from Domain Technologies for development and have been having some
problems with these tools. Although Domain Technologies' support has
been very responsive, we continue to experience difficulties. I
would like to know if anyone else is using these tools and what they
think of them. Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternate
solution?
