Of course nobody sensible minds your "advertising". I'm glad to here from you. Hi all,

I hope you don't mind my advertising the new version of the smbPitchShift
code here but it is quite widely used and informing all the people
manually (let alone find them) would be a fulltime job. Since the code is
free, that just doesn't pay off ;-)

Anyway, I'd like to inform you that I have released version 1.2 of the
code which incorporates many fixes to problems and errors that have been
brought to my attention over the past years. I would recommend you update
your code as well if it makes use of smbPitchShift, as one fix relates to
the sonic quality at large pitch shift factors.

For those who have not come across the code yet it accompanies my article
"Pitch Shifting Using the Fourier Transform" which is freely available in
PDF and HTML form from

http://www.dspdimension.com/html/pshiftstft.html

I'd also like to say hi to all the long time comp.dsp members who still
remember me from the 1990s when I used to be here on a more regular
basis!

Cheers to you all!
