Hi,
Follow suggestions from Mike and Dr. Jayakumar, and also beware of Operating
System and version (and patches) of VDSP++ that you are using; also important
tell which ICE are you using to acces the DSP via JTAG. There have been some
threads about the topics on the Analog Devices' Engineering Zone
http://ez.analog.com, a resource which is also worth visiting.

need to give info on VDSP settings. During session
open ( i mean when you try to connect), what are the things are enabled?. If you
send settings in detail, we can look at it and find possible cause for reported
problem.
