Hi Keld,

I tried to work with overlays on the 4.0 and 4.1 version of VDSP and had
some trouble, too.

Have in mind in which way/order overlayed functions are called. Think of an
overlay func which calls a nother overlay func which is to be loaded into
the same runtime memory. I don't know if the OVL manager keeps track of
removale of the calling overlay function.
BTW, have you tried to trace a very simple overlayed project with the
emualtor ? This may give you insights where and whats going wrong.

Hope that helps ...

regards

Betreff: [adsp] 21065L overlay memory Hi guys,

I am trying to use external memory overlays for my 21065L project. I
have used the overlay manager supplied with the ADSP tools and I have
designed my ldf file using the guidelines outlined in the linker manual.
However, I cant get it going! Do any of you have a project that uses
memory overlays? I am very interested in an example ldf file and maybe
some sources files for the project - preferrably asm as well as C files.

Thanks in advance
