You may wish to consider the DSKcam from BiTEC Ltd. It provides VGA
resolution at 30fps. It can be run off a C6416DSK from Spectrum
Digital which is a 720Mhz, 6,000MIPS DSP designed for image
processing. It is also well suited for stand alone as the board only
consumes around 2 Watts. You can get more information at
