Hello,

I'm a Matlab beginner. I am working on a project to boost 1000BASE-T
to 3.125Gbps or persue the feasability of doing so. I have done some
work with DSP (in C) during undergrad, using LMS for noise
cancellation.

I am trying to build a model for a 3125BASE-T transciever in Matlab
that will allow me to establish a channel link budget, power budget,
etc.

I have researched UTP5 cabling standards and have come up with a
frequency domain channel model. I also have the lab resources to
measure the cable, as well.

Does anyone have any advise on where to look for info on the actual
Matlab design: viterbi/QAM25 encoding, DFE, FFE, echo cancellation,
FEXT/NEXT cancellation examples or implementations, ADSL modem
examples or implementations, etc?

I'd appreciate any kind of help with this problem.
