The exp( ) is an eigen value, that is the output of the channel has a direct
relation (in a SISO system its a multiple).

High frequency is preffered becuse of the less interference (ISI), I dont
know if it has something to do with distance traveled !

Your signal is a sine wave in the time domain -- there is huge amount of info online about sine waves that you can study.

But just a comment about intuition of this signal: I like to think of sinusoidal signals as efficient ways to
transmit something. RF signals, power lines, audio tones, light (to some extent), tsunamis -- all sine waves, and all
efficient ways to "move something" over distance.
