I never did it myself however the people who are working with this kind 
of problems told me that it is impossible to make a decent video decoder 
using a single core BlackFin. And it is barely possible with the dual 
core BF561. The bottom line is Blackfin is the wrong choice for this 
type of multimedia applications.

Has anyone achieved D1@30fps encoding on BF561 processor? And does
