Kiran,
This is a good document to get you started.
http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/tsg_ran/WG1_RL1/TSGR1_06/Docs/Pdfs/r1-99913.pdf
It talks about the basis of using FHT correlators for decoding the
bi-orthogonal first order RM codes. And then how to update the decoding
algorithm for this modified RM code. It also talks about the weight
distribution of the code which has all the information on the coding
gain.
To play with more error correcting codes and the FHT algorithm you can go
to http://signals.thingsconnect.com/
Hope this helps

Hi,
Can some one please tell me how (32,10) subcode of 2nd order reed muller
code is derived. I need to understand the coding theory behind this code
as its used in Layer 1 UMTS 3GPP 25.212 specification to encode TFCI. What
are its special properties and why this code was choosen for TFCI encoding.
It would be of great help if someone can give me technical papers published
on the same.
Regards
Kiran
