Kiran, This is a good document to get you started. http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/tsg_ran/WG1_RL1/TSGR1_06/Docs/Pdfs/r1-99913.pdf It talks about the basis of using FHT correlators for decoding the bi-orthogonal first order RM codes. And then how to update the decoding algorithm for this modified RM code. It also talks about the weight distribution of the code which has all the information on the coding gain.
