So I already solved it from LPC and it's envelope
but if somebody has anther method in mind, please post it

Hi,

I'm trying to implement an algorithm in Java for detecting the formants in
a speech segment. I've found an information, that is a good way to detect
it is from spectral envelope, which I can get as power spectrum from LPC.
So what I need is to count the power spectrum for LPC, which I get after
counting LPC coefficients and some other coefficient G.

My question is if somebody has an java implementation of counting formants
or spectral envelope e.g. from LPC or with some other method?

To sum it up: (if somebody has java code or simple algorithm for)
1. Formant detection?
2. counting spectral envelope? (e.g. LPC ...)
3. LPC coefficients?

Thnx
J.
