If your company GDA Tech gives you this assignment on short notice, then they should
give you a DSK 6713 board as a reference to compare with your client's board during
the work. With DSK board, you can get started now and not have to wait for any
factors you can't control.

GDA Tech claims to be a big outfit (like this, right?
http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/2003/11/17/stories/2003111701690200.htm) so they
should have many DSK boards. Tell your boss that a DSP engineer with 24 yrs
experience says "get Hari a DSK 6713 board ASAP" :-)

My suggestion is to borrow a DSK 6713 card from other engineers in your company.
6713 DSK has an expansion header with HPI signals. You can connect your MPU directly
or via FPGA, and verify you have correct signaling and simple driver in MPU software.

What is the device you will connect to HPI? Processor? FPGA? I/O bus of
some type? Do you have a DSK 6713 board so you can experiment?

Hi,
i have an assignment which needs to get realtime inputs through HPI Interface on C6713. I studied the spru578.pdf and C6713 processor spec. i understood little how C6713 connected to Host through HPI. According to my view,
HPIC - Control register which inits the interface and plays a key role on communication (for setting HINT,DSPINT..)
HPIA - Address register
HPID -Data register(where host is going to r/w)

But i didn't get any example for HPI interface. I need some examples for my understanding.

if u know pls share with me..

Also i need guidance from u to go on ..

Thanks in Advance,
Hari
