Hi Geoffrey,
TI's 5000 and 6000 series of DSPs are mature products. Any bugs
remaining are relatively insignificant. The tools are, at a
minimum, pretty good (now that me and a host of other developers
have spents the last few years debugging them!).
Put another way, there's no one else on the planet any better-suited
to your purposes.

Has anyone done any development with TI's TMS320C6000 series of dsp uP
boards? Are the development tools any good? Buggy at all?
I am interested in doing real time video processing using multiple
filters and image histogram equalizations. I may need to develope a
multi-processor solution... Do any of the Development tools TI have
support for this sort of thing?
