Can Matlab do image enhancement using succeeding images series?
Can Matlab do image enhancement using succeeding images series using
motion compensation?
If so then what function(s) does that?

1. Matlab has image processing toolbox which will do what you wanted.
for image processing toolbox you have to buy image processing toolbox
license, which is not part of basic matlab.
2. Scilab can be installed on windows and linux both. SIVP i suppose
does not have binary for windows vista. but SIVP works well on
windows XP. I have worked on SIVP + Scilab on windows machine, but
am yet to install and test it on debian linux. SIVP has release for
debian linux too.

Is there something like that running on Windows, or even Matlab (with
all the features below)?
Thanks,

Hello,
On scilab you can install SIVP (scilab image and video processing)
toolbox which is built using OpenCV (intels free library of image
processing functions).
It is free and i suppose it has won couple of awards too.

Is there a free tool for Matlab based (or other) for doing image/video
enhancement:
1. Zooming in using various interpolation (bi-cubic etc.),
2. image enhancement using spatial correlation,
3. image enhancement using succeeding images series.
