I assume you're probably looking at a header. If that's the case you better double check the schematics and/or Technical Reference Manual to see what needs to be done to get signals routed to the header. As I recall there's a pin on the header that needs to be pulled high to bring signals out to the header. Alternatively, there's probably an audio codec on-board so you could probe the pins on the codec. The McBSP isn't broken -- look harder. Brad

I use DM642EVM. I wrote transmitter, no device connected. I use
oscilloscope to look at pins signal (ALL OF THEM), there is constant 0
(ground). Program continuously transmit data (by poling). There is no
loopback. Fsynk is ON. Transmitter ON.
I will be happy if I will see some moving on oscillogram!
