Hi Erez,

It's hard to say what the issue could be here. There are a couple of
possible things to check:

1) Be sure that you are applying the appropriate power to the MSC8101ADS
board. I'm assuming this probably isn't the issue and you've already
checked it, but this can certainly cause major communication problems if
power is being applied improperly.

2) What kind of setup do you have? Is your computer a laptop or desktop?
One thing to try is try using all of the different LPT port combinations to
see if any of them work. I can explain the concept behind it later but try
it first and let me know how it goes. Also provide as much information
about your setup if you are still having problems.....

Hope this helps,

Ron

I'm trying to get codewarrior to connect to a 8101ADS board but I keep
getting a message that the board is not connected. I'm using Codewarrior
for starcore v1.1 and I'm connecting to the board through the parallel
port with the wiggler. I'm loading the MSC8101 stationary and when I try
and run the project I get a message ccs_error_cable_disconnect. Of
course the cable is connected and I checked the CSS settings and they
seem find. What am I missing here? Is there anything special I need to
get this setup to work?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
