The Very First DSP Online Conference!

Stephane BoucherJuly 28, 2020

I am very happy and excited to announce that the very first DSP Online Conference will be held on September 24th and 25th 2020.

So far, Fred Harris, Allen Downey, Chris Bore, John Edwards and Lalu Mansinha have agreed to present at the event and submitted abstracts for their talks.

Our objective would be to reach a total of about 14 high quality talks that would be released over the course of two days, September 24 and 25.  So far, we have 7 talks confirmed and 2 more that are pending publication.  Stay tuned for new speakers announcements in the next few days & weeks.  If you have an interesting DSP project that you would like to present to the community or any other topic that you believe could be of interest to the DSP community, please feel free to reach out to me with your idea.

Based on our experience with running the Embedded Online Conference, we currently envision the talks to be pre-recorded in order to prevent real-time streaming issues.  Following each talk, a 30 minutes or so Zoom session will be organised with the speaker for live questions and discussions.

In order to support the event, there is a small registration fee of $40 that you can bring down to 20 if you use the promo code "DSP2020" (valid until 08/31), when registering.

This will be very fun I think and I am looking forward to meet many of you through the numerous live sessions that will happen throughout the conference.

Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments down below.  Thanks!
